Taking the PADI Freediver course is yourself first step toward discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves.

Who can take this course?

To enroll in a PADI Freediver course you must be at least 15 years old. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required.

What will you learn?

e Padi Freediver course you acquire proper skills and knowledge to partake in Freediving in the most relaxed and safest manner possible.

The PADI Freediver course consists of three main phases:

-Knowledge development about freediving principles through independent study with the PADI Freediver Touch™
-Confined water session to learn breathhold techniques as well as static and dynamic apnea* Goal – static apnea of 90 seconds and dynamic apnea of 25 metres/80 feet.
-Open water sessions to practice free immersion** constant weight*** freedives, plus proper buddy procedures. Goal – constant weight freedive of minimum 10meters/ 32feet to maximum 16 meters/ 52feet

*conducted in shallow water. It is swimming horizontally, and the goal is distance
** is descending and ascending by pulling yourself down and up a vertical line. the objective is depth
*** descend and ascend vertically, swimming along a line, wearing the same amount of weight the entire dive. the objective is depth

General Information

- All bookings are subject to availability. If the program is not available for your selected date/s, we will suggest an alternative program.

- Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of your booking.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult.

- Not recommended for people with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (for example asthma, heart conditions, etc.) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor.

- Not recommended for pregnant women.

- All diving programs are subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.

Cancellation Policy

- If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee.

- If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee.

- If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
